Battery Development Engineer
We are looking for a Battery Development Engineer for a position located in Pune, India, starting immediately.

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
As a member of our team you will have the following tasks:
- Act as technical focal point for lithium ion battery packs in pack electric area.
- Specification creation of electrical components of the battery pack like contactors, fuses etc.
- Designing of high voltage busbars and low voltage cable harness, support brackets.
- Development of parts together with the supplier.
- Test planning and analysis of the test results.
- Perform basic FEM simulations like eigen frequency calculations and static load case analysis.
- Creation of 2D drawings.
- Design of layout which includes designing electric circuit, bundle drawings, 3D models, mounting and assembly drawings.
- Perform DFMEA, DVPR and risk mitigation activities.
- Collaborate with cross functional team and supplier.
- Provide technical guidance to other team members.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have
- Qualification: M. Tech / B Tech in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automobile Engineering
- Experience Range: 8 to 12 years.
- Experience in development of Electrical components.
- Design knowledge of HV Bus bars, LV Harnesses.
- Experience with Plastic bracket/holder design for mounting the electrical components.
- Advance knowhow in CATIA V5 software is must to have.
- Good analytical skills are needed.
- Strong communication and presentation skill set is necessary.
- Knowhow of GD & T and its application.
- Good Knowhow of Battery pack components and eMobility system.
- Good understanding of EMI and EMC considerations.
