Geometric Assurance Engineer
We are looking for a Geometric Assurance Engineer for a position located in Pune, India, starting immediately.

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
As a member of our team you will have the following tasks:
- Geometry Validation & Complete Vehicle Layout & Modularization of Packaging vehicles (TGRMMV2).
- Packaging / Integration for geometrical assurance in truck projects: structural evaluation of complete vehicles (prototypes, package-vehicles).
- Verification of assembly and layout preparation of Truck aggregates like Chassis frame, Cabin, Steering, brakes and peripheral parts for new generation Vehicle development.
- Modularization & variant management.
- The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and external partners for development areas.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have
- Qualification: BE or BTech / ME or MTech: Mechanical / Automobile / Production
- Experience Range: 1 to 4 years
- Good experience in Heavy commercial (Trucks) portfolio, Vehicle types and categories.
- Experience in Vehicle integration and good knowledge of truck aggregates.
- Experience in Truck aggregate integration using DMU tool, Evaluation of vehicle interface components for gap, clearance and generate report with Risk & priority analysis.
- Experts in CATIA V5 modules, Technical Concept development and verification for complete vehicle layout with alignment in Global team.
- Experience in modular strategy for components and component families with variant planning in the vehicle development projects (database and Excel evaluations, Simba).
- Knowledge of vehicle level (truck) homologation requirements.
- Knowledge of working experience in PLM system like Windchill, ENOVIA.
- Flexibility for international travel.
- Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster a supportive working environment.
Good To have
- Good know how of Basic GD & T methods in the automotive industry.
- Experience in preparation of technical body building guidelines.
