Cooling Design Engineer

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

As a member of our team you will have the following tasks:

• Domain Knowledge: Experience with Automotive cooling system components.  
• Testing Knowledge: Understanding of cooling system and component-level testing.  
• Design Knowledge: Expertise in plastic and sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes.  
• CATIA V5 Skills: Proficiency in 2D/3D design.  
• PLM Tools: Familiarity with PLM tools like Windchill / Enovia.  
• GD&T Knowledge: Understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.  
• MS Tools: Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.  
• Release Process and Change Management: Knowledge of these processes.  
• Fundamentals and Analytical Skills: Strong foundational and analytical abilities.  
• Communication Skills: Effective communication.  
• Design: Cooling lines, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, plastic and sheet metal components, cooling modules, fan shroud assembly.  
• Packaging and Concept Study: Ensuring components fit and function within the vehicle. •Coordination: Working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.  
• Participation: In DFM/DFA/DFS/DFMEA & DVP activities.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Must Have

• Qualification: BE / B.Tech / M.E / M. Tech: Mechanical / Automobile  
• Experience Range: 4 to 6 years  
• Battery Electric Vehicles: Knowledge of components, integration, layouts, and installation.
